About Us

The sites I most enjoy on the Internet are those that make me feel welcome, as if I were really in a cozy corner of a library, or a small boutique. Our goal is for you to feel welcome and at home when you visit The Vanilla.COMpany.

As you know a little about me from my presence throughout the site, I would like to introduce to you my very competent assistant, Gina Tassone. Gina and I have known each other for years, and have long been interested in collaborating on a project. We found that opportunity in The Vanilla.COMpany.

Gina has a diverse background in adminstrative management, having held positions in an interesting array of businesses, including a university administration office, chiropractic and homeopathic clinics, and a vintage clothing store. In addition to her work here at The Vanilla.COMpany, she manages Wally's Swing World, a popular local Swing band. This provides her with the opportunity to indulge her passions for music, swing dancing and vintage apparel. Gina has varied responsibilities at The Vanilla.COMpany, including, but not limited to Customer Service, Order fulfillment and Bookkeeping, and has the enviable ability to work at a computer for hours without getting restless, which is one of the many reasons she is an invaluable asset to our company.

Creative design and site management is by Kathy Long of Kat & Mouse Web Design, while the dynamic functionality of our site falls into the hands of her sister company, SITE-etc and Sim Ayers, her business partner/programmer.
